The IFSA Traders’ Cup
The IFSA Traders’ Cup is the world’s largest student-organized trading competition, hosted by the IFSA Network and its partners. This competition is designed for those who want to try their hand at trading but may not have had the opportunity or the resources to do so.
In this competition, each participant is given $100,000 in virtual starting capital, on a platform for practising trading skills with the latest stock market performance and news. This platform hosts a game where participants can trade real data from the open US market, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, real estate, and others. The trading period typically runs from March 1st to April 1st.
At the end of this trading period, the return on investment (ROI) for all teams is calculated. The teams with the highest ROIs in the first, second, or third place receive cash prizes.
