A brief introduction :

 

The IFSA Network (previously called the International Finance Student Association) is the world’s largest finance student run organisation connecting the planet’s most prestigious universities and finance’s actors worldwide.

Our Vision: Connect, educate and empower the financial leaders of tomorrow. 

Our Mission: Provide our members with lectures, competitions, workshops and networking events in order to build their knowledge and network. 

We are building a powerful & adaptable network that will last through decades and benefit the lives of many.

What do we provide to our members? 

We provide our people with a first class network which only incudes the best universities per country. Imperial College, Harvard University, LSE, Bocconi, Columbia University or Ecole Polytechnique are a few examples of where our offices are established. Current and previous members of the IFSA worked or are now working for companies such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Sequoia BV, Citibank, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Thomson Reuters, Societe Generale or The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). 

We are preparing you for the financial industry with our lectures and workshops. Moreover, we provide you with services such as CV and Cover Letter checks as well as mock interviews. Furthermore, our competitions and case studies will enable you to acquire a solid knowledge on the various fields that compose finance whether it is on private equity, hedge funds, mergers & acquisitions or equity derivatives. 

Lastly we help you build your network by enabling you to interact with finance professionals and bright students who share the same passion as you. The competitions we organised in cooperation with our member clubs were sponsored by Sberbank and The Blackstone Group. Other events which took place in our network involved companies such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse and Bloomberg. All these events which are organised around the world give tremendous exposition to all our members and this no matter where they are. 

What do we provide to our sponsors & partners ?

Our marketing strategies include a clever mix between our website, socials media channels, local publications and direct communication. Our sponsors and partners will benefit from a unique opportunity of being exposed to a global network, have access to numerous talented students from world-leading universities and are able to directly promote themselves at our locations.

A smart system

IFSA is composed of different chapters throughout the world. The concept is to have semi-independent units, each composed of their own board & active members and to create synergy between these in order to provide the best to our members.

The idea of semi-independent communities enables an efficient and effective decision making process, which, could have been problematic with such a broad network. Further, it also allows synergy between each of the chapters as a great amount of ideas & information can be exchanged.

Each of these units will provide members with lectures, workshops, social events and other sources of intelligence that will be put on our website. As a result of this the members will have access to the material they require for their success, no matter their location.
