The International Finance Student Association was created in the city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Its first board is composed of multicultural students from the renowned Rotterdam School of Management, part of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
IFSA Rotterdam functions as the headquarters of the organization. The members are responsible of coordinating and helping other chapters to grow. Further, Rotterdam will also be the host of numerous lectures & workshops, events and games.

I am Jules Maitrepierre, the founder and president of the IFSA.
I am currently in my last year of bachelor studying International Business administration at the RSM. I was a strategy intern at PwC and I am currently doing an internship in microfinance/private equity at Sequoia/ASA International in Amsterdam.
As the president, I am responsible of building the strategies and coordinating the activities of the different chapters located around the world.

Introducing Rotterdam’s Chairman
My name is César Deschepper, I am the Chairman of IFSA Rotterdam, representing Rotterdam School of Management where I study International Business & Administration.
I am enthusiastic about Mergers and acquisition as well as Strategy and wish to pursue a career in investment Banking.
I believe that studying abroad is a unique opportunity to develop soft and communication skills. Through the organisation of events like the Traders’ Cup and the Bletchley Project – a Machine Learning boot camp -, IFSA is a for me a chance to benefit from the experience of advanced students and professional.
In all, I am proud of being part of a fast-moving and prestigious association that brings out the best out of its members.
I am Leif Beckers, the current Vice Chairman of IFSA Rotterdam. Since joining IFSA in 2015, I have been striving to make the organisation a global network that is not only empowering and educating its members, but also has a positive impact on the industry.
I am currently studying International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management. Having worked as an Economics Intern at the National Audit Office UK, as well as a Freelance Consultant in Rotterdam, my goal is to gain a balanced work experience, before making any specialization choices.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading up on the advancements of the tech industry, the sustainable progression in the energy sector and astrophysical topics in general, but also doing extreme sports such as Snowboarding or Kitesurfing.
